The Cambodian Experience

It took guitar camp, something so significantly shorter than OCIP, to make me realise that I truly miss home. Guitar camp took me away from all you Babesies too, haha. Ohwell, we can't have everything we want in life aye?

Anyway.. OCIP.
Great learning experience.
which says a hell lot.
13 days of independence.
Hours of painting,
teaching,
constructing,
planning.
the one-of-a-kind buses,
which says it all about cambodian buses.
bitch sessions at night.
the damn funny level up game.
the forfeits that never came.
crazy tuktuks.
those clouds of dust.
lemongrass.
the late night visits to pub street.
the oh-my-buddha drink.
the friendships forged.
the millions of mozzie bites.
I miss being with everyone 24/7.

my little friends from cambodia..
rin, porn, tupid, tham, chom, hiung, kun.. not forgetting little leilo [who we called Lilo] & her brother, leiyap. I think Leiyap stole a piece of my heart, he's just too shy & cute. =) there are just too many of them, too many memories to remember them all clearly.

I don't wanna forget any moment in those 13 days, not even one split second. They're all equally precious to me. I don't wanna forget, yet I know I will. I wish I could just bottle all my memories up & seal them away somewhere so that in the future, I can view them & get all nostalgic about my youth. This is one of the life-changing things that has happened in my life, which opened my eyes to everything around me.

I really miss Cambodia. Please, oh please let me rmb the people, the culture, the fun I've had there. For as long as possible, anw. Please let me have a chance to return there next year? Sanks you. I need photos. Asap.

Random: I hate being fickle-minded. Can I just settle on ONE alphabet? :( Errrr.. some of you know what I mean. It's so obvious. And I think Switchfoot's 24 reflects my current mood quite well..

A Great Music Lesson

Yoyo, boys & girls! Time for another enriching period of... MUSIC! Tadaa~ Today, we're going to learn about some genres of music, in particular Classical & Trance. These 2 genres are hugely popular at the dining table of the Lou household as they are played there daily.

Classical music. Classical music should not be taken literally as 'classical music' per se. Rather, it is used to describe what is known 'classical examples'. Now now, boys & girls, pay attention! This might not seem interesting to you, but in the cutthroat politics of the Lou household, music is especially impt. The phrase 'classical music' is often used to illustrate situations when Acts of Bimboticness occur. For example, after witnessing one such act, someone might say, "Walao, listen to that classical music! So... soothing." >:]

Next, trance music. As we all should know, trance music is repetitive & strains the ear-drums especially when one has a grudge against it. xP The never-ending repeats serve to do nothing other than annoy the heck outta those in the immediate vicinity who do not have a taste for trance. Moreover, these trance-loving ppl are never aware of what they are doing & its effects upon the environment arnd them. To stay alive on the vicious political worldy of the Lou household, one must either tune out from the trance radio station or learn it love it. In the modern society, those who are against trance music usually choose the former.

Geog... physical sucked but human was slightly better.
Lit was sleepiness. So this was bad. :(
Chinese is total hysteria. So gonna fail.

Whoohoo. Grad Nite was like uber fun? I think the 60 quid is worth spending. The place is nice and most impt thing of all is that the food is nice.
First Course: Cold Dish with loads of jellyfishes and octopuses. Aha
Second Course: Double Boiled Winter Melon Soup with a lot of scallops. Aha
Third Course: Sautéed prawns with Golden Nest. Aha
Fourth Course: Chicken with a uber nice sauce. Aha, i got the drumsticks
Fifth Course: ''Stretch out ur hands halfway'' long fish. Aha
Sixth Course: Broccoli with Abalone. Aha
Seventh Course: Lotus Rice.
Eighth Course: forgot.Too busy taking pictures wif....
Ninth Course: forgot. Same
Tenth Course: Rice Bean Soup. Cheapskates

Btw, i won the table draw too. O_o, however the school is cheapskate u see, so i juz won a compass. Aha, then we do science experiment by putting 10 compasses together and see ad happen, and i think the needle anyhow fly?!?!? So, the whole night was mainly picture taking and tok and picture taking and tok and eat and tok and eat and take picture. Msg me if u wanna see the pics.. ehe ki-ker-boo-ki-ar. Ah-ha-bb-ar. Then, at 11 sth, we go dance but when i stood there i see every jumping instead of jumping then i go out the ballroom le. They were like practically jumping instead of dancing? O_O'' My expression when i saw that. Spoilers!
